These campers will become the problem solvers of tomorrow! VEX Robots allow us to explore the world of robotics, engineering, and coding at camp. Campers will build their robots from the ground up, adapting them to compete in user-piloted challenges and obstacle courses, as well as completely autonomous challenges programmed using ROBOTC – the universal coding language of robotics!

Aprons on, hair back, hands washed – let’s make some pasta! During this hands-on class, campers will be separating eggs, mixing and stretching dough, and cutting a variety of pasta noodles. They’ll master the from-scratch recipe, and let their creativity take over making all different shapes of pasta. Campers will come home with a knowledge of kitchen safety, how a recipe works, and a book of recipes.

This camp explores the world of mosaics from Ancient Greece to modern-day interior design studios. Campers will get hands-on with this art form using small pieces of colored glass, stone, and other materials to create images that tell stories. MMS Art teacher Karen Gorecki and Lower El. teacher Georgia Kane will work with your campers to design and build their unique mosaic tray.
